We've been busy!

And I am sorry to say I have negleted my poor blog! I have been taking pictures with my phone and only just downloaded them...so here's what you've missed!!!

Downtown Disney...we have a "family fun bag" it is filled with Saturday activities for our family. Each Saturday we pull an activity out of the bag and thats what we do..no matter what. Well this one said "downtown Disney" which is the shopping center outside Disneyland.  We cashed in all our coin jars and gave the girls money to buy something.  It was a bust..we discovered the shops there while fun, are so over priced that even Noelle at 5 years old didn't want to fork over the cash for anything at the Disney store!!! She picked up a cheap bracelet and was like," $14.50 for THIS!! No way!!!" Oh well! What saved the day was the local dentist by the place we cashed in our coins had free face painting! and I bought a $2 can of colored hair spray so they could be rock stars!!

April Fools Day! those are marshmellow and apricot "eggs" and a fake "abe" he was out of town...mean....maybe

"Too often parents counteract what they say by what they do. Like last night I had a very confusing conversation with my 5 year old about how tricking people is not really a nice thing to do. My real mistake was making April fools day a really, really big deal.  We made fake spills out of cups with dried red glue and placed them carefully on the brand new carpet, we made spills out of nail polish that appeared later that day on the carpet, we used Easter egg dye tablets inserted into the faucet to make the water run red, I taped the arm and neck holes of all Abe's shirts shut, I made meatloaf look like cupcakes with red mashed potato frosting and pound cake grilled cheese sandwiches for dessert.  Over board I know. All day we went around tricking people and having a blast, but now when Noelle thinks it would be a funny trick to pour water on daddy while he’s working or hide someone’s keys I have a hard time explaining.  I feel like no matter what your age or who you are, people will notice what you do and not what you say. "****exerpt from my mothers day talk in church! Abe's talk was better, don't worry! hahaha

Abe's 35 birthday!! All he wanted was a Serano Ham, and so that's what he got, an authentic ham all the way from Spain!

Park day!

My dad moved to Australia and my mom is soon to follow :(  Our last hoo-ray at Cafe Rio. which on a side note has been sadly dissapointing lately ...(too much of a good thing?)

We set our beta fish "free" in the ocean

San Deigo "Hodads" best burger and onion rings ever!

Beach Day with friends!!

photo shoot...

The girls got new Easter dresses last week and they have put them on every morning since. A couple days ago instead of changing them strait back into play clothes I ushered them outside for a photo shoot.  We don't have any pictures of Noah on the wall, so it is definitely time to replace them. As I said this was an impromptu shoot, but I found a great place in our back yard to set up photos. I had my camera on the wrong setting the whole time and the kids hadn't even had breakfast yet so it was a little chaotic, but I am excited to try again!.....I did get a couple good ones!!!

My little 5 year old!

Noelle is FIVE! Seriously where does the time go.  My little love had a bounce house party and man, oh man was she excited! She had her little friends over and they bounced and bounced and bounced....( the bounce house arrived at 7:30 in the morning, and they picked it up at 5:00pm, Noelle and Chloe were in it ALL day)

our family showed up in full force!

Noah fell asleep on Nanas face like that!

Even Aunt Tawny made it on her broken foot, we got to hang out for the rest of the day which was fun!

Let me tell you about Noelle. She is extreamly smart, so smart that I really don't know how I am going to keep up with her. She is thoughtful, today she took her journal and in her best handwriting figured out how to write "Noelle loves Chloe, Noah, Mom, Dad". She is always considerate and will give away her last treat. She is a great big sister and is always teaching Chloe and Noah. She teaches Chloe how to use the computer and Noah how to say Mama, Dada, Noelle and Chloe. She loves going to Church and reading the scriptures as a family.  She has a testimony that God lives and he is as real as you or me. Yesterday she said "Mommy I am trying to remember a spiderman song that the boys at my preschool sing....I think it is something like..he is something than all the rest".  Then I said.."well, maybe it says 'he is the best of all the rest'".  She replied  "Um no... I don't think it says that....because that is not true.  Heavenly Father is the best of all the rest"
She is growing up to be such a lovely young lady and I am so proud of her.

VALENTINES DAY!-
So I didn't take a picture of the beautiful watch
Abe got me or the flowers...but I did take a picture of the dinner I made. Lol!
I roasted some ribs, and baby potatoes, I made macaroni and cheese from scratch...

and yes I even made Abe lobster tails! and if you are wondering 8 days later the smell is finally starting to fade, thank you.

I also got pictures of my favorite food eaters...(Noah couldn't join us in eating dinner, but he is also my favorite)

ooh...those are the flowers...I guess I did capture those..they were pink and red!
