I need wings!

Today the girls and I were driving to see Aunty Heehe in Irvine and we passed a big truck on the freeway. Noelle looked over at the man driving the truck and said "mommy is that Jesus?" I said "No he just looks like Jesus because he has a beard." She replied "He is not Jesus, He needs Jesus, he doesn't know Jesus. I need to see Jesus, but first I need wings. I need wings on my feet and on my back, then I can go see Jesus! I love Jesus, he is my friend! "
My nephew, Tyler Gardner is at the BYU Jerusalem Center, he is keeping a journal of his time there and it is truely inspirational. http://tylergardner.blogspot.com/ read it in chronological order, on the left hand side of the page are the months, read from the bottom up. i love the 4th of July post-

Happy 4th of JULY!!!

We had a miserable/so fun week! The miserable part was Laughlin, Nevada! It is a terrible place, sad but true! The girls and I went out there with Abe because he had some work to do. We had a beautiful hotel suite(that wasn't the miserable part) The problem was that it was 120 DEGREES outside, I have never been so hot in my life. There was a pool that we went to twice a day but it was awful! It was 100 DEGREES and when you stepped in the water you litterally could not feel where the water began, no chill at all! We stayed in the

hotel room until 4pm on the last day-I just couldn't take it! But at least we were all together and we got to see Abe for dinner everynight!

Now for the fun part- We went to the River house for the fourth of July! It was so fun!! We wakeboarded and swam in the river and had a lot of fun with our family! There were a lot of people there and when she would wake up from her nap and everyone was on the boat she would say "mommy where did all my friends go!" We always have fun and it is good to spend the time with the family! We saw fireworks in Blyth at the Fairgrounds, it was a great show and it was all set to music. Then we came home went to the beach and had a birthday bbq for my mom! The week started out bad, but ended so well. All is good!

4 years and counting....

Abe and I celebrated our fourth anniversary on June 19!!!! I can not believe it has only been four years, people say that time flys, but Abe and I have done sooooo much that it doesn't seem like we could have accomplished it in only four years. This is what we have done!
* Two beautiful daughters! Noelle Emma is 2 years old and Chloe Michelle is 6 months old.
* We have moved 3 times! We lived in Aliso Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita and San Clemente.
* Abe got a promotion, twice. He now sells Sleep Diagnostic Equipment for Cadwell and he covers the whole west coast!
* As for me - besides 18 months of pregnancies and 2 children under my belt (literally) I have been going to school and taking all of the required classes to get my real estate licence and now am preparing to go to Cal State Fullerton to get my Bachelors Degree in Business.
*We have been to Cancun, Puerta Vallerta, Rosorito, Cabo San lucas, Boston, New York, Washington D. C., Hawaii (twice), California's Central Coast(three times), Utah (hundreds of times), Seattle and finally ( I think) the Colorado River (lots)
* We have held 8 foot long sharks and been snorkling with sea turtles. We have seen a broadway musical and a Circ de sole show!
* We are planning a trip to Australia and hope to go this Christmas!

We are so HAPPY together and I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful husband!

AMAZING!

Noelle amazes me every day! Here are some of her latest funniest moments:

I started Noelle a bath and then took Chloe to get her a towel, I came back and she was in the bath with all her clothes on! She looked up at me totally shocked and said " I made a BIG mistake! I got my clothes all wet!"

Noelle says that she remembers when she couldn't talk and she had to use baby sign language!

Abe wrapped Chloe in Noelle's blanket Pinky, and she said " Daddy you made a mistake, you put Pinky on the wrong kid!"

She got confused and called her knuckle a nipple! Quite amuzing when she told us Chloe was sucking on her nipple! ( Dont worry she showed me her wet hand!)

I was in her room sitting on her bed and they have pink curtins that the sun was shining through and she said " Mommy do you have a bad owie on your leg? " I looked and I couldn't see one so I said No and she said " oh it was just the pink sunshine!"

She was listening to music and dancing all around and then a slow song came on and she said " This one is boring, makes me sleepy." ( She also thinks that Nursery at Church is boring and she would rather watch Dora)

A TOOTH! ARE YOU SERIOUS!?

Chloe got her first tooth! So crazy, she is growing up sooo fast! She was chewing on my finger and I seriously thought I must be crazy, but there it was on the bottom right. Teeth are for toddlers, not tiny babies like Chloe! She is rolling over and scooting like a little pro. She can make it anywhere she wants but she only does it when no one is looking!

Summer is here...or at least it feels like it...for now!

We love San Clemente! We recently found a new snack bar at the end of the pier and it is quickly becoming our favorite hang-out for Family Home Evening! On chilly nights we get a hot chocolate, but since it has been soooo hot -we now indulge in a cotton candy and an icy cold bottle of water! There is nothing better! We play checkers and take pictures...lots and lots of pictures!

Daddy is 32!

***********************************************************************************************************Abe had a birthday! We celebrated by taking the kids to the San Diego Zoo. I know it defies logic but the Zoo is all uphill. No matter which way you turn and even when you leave you are always going UP hill. Then on Sunday we had dinner at the Browns (Ken and Carol) and then an after party at the Gardners (Aaron and Kim). So fun and Abe is So OLD!
