HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR LITTLE NOELLEY BELLY
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU

WE LOVE YOU !!!
MOMMY, DADDY AND CHLOE

TINY DANCER!!!

Before she even got to the bar she was ready to pirouette
And point your toes...
Lunch and cotton candy on the pier with Macady after class!!!
This is seriously the cutest thing in the world. The 3 and 4 year old ballet/tap class is now Noelle's favorite activity!! She had a ruff start because they stay by themselves and the parents are not allowed to watch, but now she is a champ! I get to stroll the main street shops for a whole hour sans 3 year old -which is a huge bonus! Noelle even gets to be in a recital!!! they are learning the cutest little penguin dance for the tap part (Noelle LOVES her tap shoes!) She comes home and tells me all about her friends... some of them are crying friends and some are silly friends! Haha

CuTEST KidS COnTeST!!!

Ok I know, I know but I could not resist! A friend of mine told me about a cutest kid contest on REGIS AND KELLY so I entered Noelle and Chloe!! These are the pics I used!1 I think you have to vote on the website on March 9th Ill keep you posted!!
Abe and I decided we had no good pictures of ourselves lately so this is what we came up with! Isn't Abe HANDSOME!! I love this picture, and I love my husband!!    ;)

My 27th BIRTHdAY!

SO CLOSE TO 30 I CAN FEEL IT!!! I had a great day.  Abe made blueberry pancakes and I opened my presents from Noelle and Chloe -neither them nor I could wait!.  Noelle went to pick them out with Abe the day before and she came in the door and said "Mommy we bought you some....TOYS"  i was so afraid that she was going to spoil the surprise but she didn't, that is not right that second! An hour later out of the blue with no context of conversation blurted out "mommy - I got you a candle and chloe got you a candle and they smell BEAUTIFUL!"
Noelle went to ballet class and for the first time...didn't cry at all.  That means every Wednesday at 10:30 I get to drop her off and shop along mainstreet for an hour with only one kid! So that was a great birthday present in and of itself.  Then we had a family party at BJS Pizza! Kim and Aaron, little Hayley, Taylor and Little Aaron, Hayley and Brian, Ric, Rachel, and Macady, My mom ( and even DAD via telephone and spirit) and Shellie and Avery were all there with Abe, myself and our girls! I scored big time with all the gifts THANKS GUYS-LOVE YOU!!!

Wahoo!

Noelle was pretending to be mad, to be funny -but what a face! HaHaHa

Chloe WALKS and Noelle gets bangs!
Chloe took her first three steps at Nana's house while Abe and I were at a movie :(
I knew she was close so I had watched like a hawk for days.  Nana truly saw the first unaided steps. Since then she is a walking professional!  She walks the entire length of the living room no problem. Way to GO CLO!!!
Noelle suffers from 'I can't see cuz my hair is always in my face' So yesterday I took the scissors and fixed the problem!!!  I just snipped everything that was in her way... Abe was extremely skeptical, but it turned out great!! She looks so grown up now, with her first little DO!!

Lion cub!

Noelle climbs in Chloe's crib at nap time a lot.  So I did not think anything of it when I could hear them over the monitor hysterically laughing instead of napping.  I went up there to check on them and the first thing I noticed was Noelle covered in pen...I looked at her and asked her what she had done!   She said very innocently " I was just making Chloe into a lion"  Then I saw Chloe.  Oh the torment of being a little sister

Merry Christmas!

Christmas has come and gone...where does the time go? The run down of Christmas events was as follows:

We went to Knots Berry Farm for Christmas Eve Day (thanks Myra!)  Christmas Eve we had a Gardner/Smith Family Nativity Play. Noelle was the Star and Chloe was the Baby Jesus (for 20 seconds)  All the kids got to open ONE present...pjs of course!
We made Santa some cookies and when we were getting the girls ready for bed we heard Santa's jingle bells! Noelle's jaw dropped to the floor and with an expression resembling a deer in headlights she whispered "Santa's in our house!" I told her not to look downstairs just to run to bed.  She took off and we did not hear a peep.  Noelle was so excited to have Santa come to our house that I thought she would have a hard time falling asleep (I feel like I did my job as a mother getting her so worked up!)  but I think she got so scared that she was out like a light.
There is nothing like Christmas morning with a two year old and a one year old!  Chloe didn't know what was going on but the excitement rubbed off on her(still she had more fun with all the wrapping paper than her new toys...although Santa brought her a pretend puppy that rolled over and barked that was a pretty big hit once all the mess was gone!)  We think Noelle snuck downstairs before she came and woke us up because she came in and said "can I go play with my new dollhouse?"
We had dinner at my moms house later that day and it was fabulous. And suprisingling no family drama to report of!   What a Merry Christmas indeed!
